Dread Pirate Virus, Arrrgh

My home has been attacked by illness the past couple of days. We were all taken prisoner by the Back To School Sickness and it landed me on my back. Which is a fantastic position to finish a sock in the most yummy purple and take mental note of how much dust has collected on the ceiling fan blades. I am on the mend, but yesterday, if it had been the 15th century, someone would surely have leeched me.

That is, indeed, a very beautiful purple. I'm glad you had something good to think about while the rest of you was being ravaged. arrrrgh.

Ick, hope you feel better soon! At least you weren't too sick to knit a comforting sock!

Hmmm. I hope you feel better soon. Nothing benefits knitting more than sickness.

hope you are feeling better soon, heather. just how many pairs of handknit socks do you have?

Yeah, no kidding. I would love to have just one knitted pair in my sock drawer, but that would require me to learn how to use double-pointed needles and knit in the round... HUH?

Beautiful color! Knee socks?

Hope you're feeling better soon (and that it doesn't migrate north)!

Love the sock. Am sorry about the illness. Very happy no leeches in vicinity. Get well soon! Frances

I got so much knitting done while I had strep a few weeks ago (socks, natch), it almost made feeling lousy worth it. What else can you do when you're sick but knit and watch TV--and not feel guilty about it. Hope you're better!

Frances

p.s. that's some gorgeous purple!

Yes! We just went through a bout of that this past January. Those little buggers are givers... that's for sure.

Get well soon.
